Medical Assistant
SH ALLERGY, ASTHMA & IMMUNOLOGY

I studied Neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I found myself most engaged building data analysis pipelines for my research, and coding solutions for pain points in my extracurriculars. After graduating, I spent a gap year as a medical assistant while applying to medical school. I kept coding on the side, and somewhere along the way I realized that my passion lay in building software. I'm now pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at Columbia University with a focus on machine learning. Once I finish, I plan to work as a software engineer or machine learning engineer, where my background in cognition can inform how I build intelligent systems.
